We started with a fruit farm with a strong belief that we can produce the most nutritious fruit.

Our currants

We trying to be leading commercial producers of Black and Red currant in Serbia.

Redcurrants are  full of vital vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. They are abundant with vitamins A, B (B1, B2, B3 and B6), C and K.

Excellent sources of minerals and antioxidants, and with regular consumption they help detoxify the organism.

Iron in redcurrants improves the use of vitamin C in them which is excellent for people suffering from anemia.

Blackcurrants vary from dark-blue to black. Early Europeans used them to treat various diseases. They contains high concentrations of anthocyanins, polyphenols, antioxidants and other bioactive substances.

It’s amazing that blackcurrant leaves have a higher concentration of vitamin C than berry. The leaf is rich in potassium, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, copper, iron and sodium, as well as tannin, bioflavonide, pectin, anthocyanin and smaller amounts of essential oils.

The ribbons are picked in April and May.

The Kusago farm grows following varieties of currants:

– Redcurrant ROVADA

– Blackcurrant TITANIA.

Our Quince

Quince is perfect for making jelly and jams. Quince is also used for making brandy and it’s used as an aromatic supplement of alcoholic beverages.

Quince is a very nutritious fruit that also has a very low calorie value. 100 grams of fennel fruit contains only 57 calories. Quince is an excellent source of dietary fiber, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals - calcium, iron, potassium, magnesium and copper.

At the Kusago Farm we grow “Leskovačka” quince which is dominant in Vojvodina. Leskovačka quince is a round, large, recognizable scent, while the inside is juicy and aromatic, with acid-sweet taste.

We pick quince in October, when they reach full maturity.

Our hazelnut

Hazelnuts growers have been labeled as long-term thinkers, and the fruit of hazelnuts are considered one of the healthiest among nuts. It has been scientifically proven that if you regularly consume a hazelnut, chances are that you will suffer from carcinogenic or heart disease are very low or none.

At Kusago Farm we grow high quality hazelnut Tonda Dentila Romana, a medium-sized, round-shaped, delicious fruit.

Our farm has a total of 1,650 trees.
